Earlier this year, Kumera conducted a global satisfaction survey. The objective of the survey was to establish how the market views Kumera as a vendor, brand and company. The web-based survey was sent out to approximately 2500 people that have been in contact with Kumera, either as a customer or prospect. The majority of the respondents were engineers, and the feedback was clear.
The market see Kumera as a friendly, service-oriented supplier. Kumera score high on service, flexibility, and reliability – and customers feel Kumera is the company that is most pleasant to do business with.
As well as positive feedback, it is nevertheless important to get to know the company’s areas of improvement.
Kumera wanted to know if their thoughts about their business were in line with how the market perceives them. The survey revealed the markets expectations, experiences, knowledge and needs.
An interesting finding was that 39 % did not know that Kumera offers propulsion gearboxes. As a result, Kumera has now invested in new marketing materials promoting NORGEAR Propulsion Gear Units to the market.
For almost 100 years, Kumera Norgear has designed, developed and manufactured marine power transmissions for customers across the globe. Kumeras’ vision is to be the driving force in marine power transmissions for the global marine, subsea and offshore industries, offering tailor-made, high quality solutions that fulfil our customers’ needs and are in line with market requirements.
Based on results from the survey, Kumera has designed and implemented a new graphical profile to reflect the quality, flexibility and service that Kumera represents, as well as their long history and strength within both propulsion and auxiliary drives. With a uniform visual identity, Kumera hope to achieve a consistent tone of voice across all media and markets.
